Boskennal Farm is situated in the Cornish countryside midway between the market town of Penzance and the renowned charismatic
seaside resort of St Ives.
Penzance, the gateway to the Isles of Scilly, boasts fine restaurants, museums and a plethora of shopping while St Ives hosts
the well-known Tate Art Gallery, along with wonderful sandy beaches and a variety of eating places to suit all needs. Examples
of Barbara Hepworth’s work and the famous Leach Pottery can also be found here.
Just a few minutes ride out of St Ives lies the splendid Penwith Moors affording spectacular coastline and views of traditional
old Cornish countryside along the coast road which leads to Lands End.
There are many historic places of interest to visit and explore in the near locality to Boskennal, along with more modern activities
such as pleasure parks and go-karting. Horse riding is available only half a mile away. There are wonderful walks both coastal and
cross country, with pubs along the way). For something a little different and very special, the unique and extremely popular Minack
Theatre is only 20 minutes away along the coast.
The now well established and increasingly popular Eden Project lies just 40 miles away and no visit to Cornwall would be complete
without a trip to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are also castles and gardens in abundance.
Boskennal is a working farm with cattle, sheep and daffodils. Three traditional barns have been restored and converted to cottages
for holiday accommodation. The Corn Barn and the Millhouse have open-plan kitchen/living rooms upstairs and bedrooms downstairs,
whilst the Top Cowshouse is single storey with all accommodation on the ground floor.
A small meadow situated across from the main farmhouse is a perfect place for a quiet picnic. This is a beautiful place where you
can relax in peaceful meditation and reflection, or simply enjoy the tranquil birdsong.
The meadow has a picnic table situated in the centre, and a large stone naturally placed dominates the meadow and brings an esoteric
almost spiritual quality to this place.
Our aim is to make your holiday a comfortable and pleasurable experience in one of the most beautiful settings in Cornwall on a
working farm with spectacular views.
